The song “She’s a Carioca” is from the CD “Essentially Jobim” released at this performance. Bricker and Byrd recorded with Gil on the CD (available at iTunes.com and www.tonygil.com). The CD was named Jazz Recording of the Year by the Washington Area Music Association.Gil received the award for Jazz vocalist of the Year as well as Artist of the Year. Also playing at this performance was David Jernigan and Victor Dvoskin on bass, Bill Harris and Robert Redd on piano, Chuck Redd and Tony Martucci on drums and Chris Bacas on flute and saxaphone
